Our Board & Governance

Strategic and accountable stewardship

The Centre has a strong, skilled and passionate Board who guide our strategic direction and ensure we meet our obligations as a transparent and accountable community organisation.

Our Board includes women from a broad range of professional backgrounds including senior women leaders from across the community, legal and government sectors.

Trish is an experienced leader in the area of gender equality in Australia and the Chair of the Board.

Trish Bergin
Linda is a leader in the legal and social justice fields in Canberra. She is currently the Deputy Chair of the Board.

Linda Crebbin AM
Agnes is the Centre's Treasurer. She is a qualified accountant and has over a decade of finance leadership experience.

Agnes Kopras-Ianson
Alana is the Secretary of the Centre. She has a background in public policy and law

Katrina is a leader with deep public sector experience at SES levels and commitment to Aboriginal led services and solutions

Katrina Fanning

Cathie is an experienced in-house lawyer, company secretary and a graduate of the AICD

Cathie Warburton

Rebecca is the Young Woman Observer on the Board. She has experience working across governments and in gender specific services.
